Dr. Emily Boes

Dr. Emily Boes is a board-certified dermatologist. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology.

Dr. Boes grew up in Carroll, IA and graduated from The University of Iowa with a degree in Integrative Physiology. She then completed her medical school training at Des Moines University. She completed a traditional rotating internship at Beaumont Hospital-Trenton in Trenton, MI, and dermatology residency at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center in Cleveland, OH. After residency, Dr. Boes practiced for a year in Pittsburgh, PA and then worked in private practice for several years in Coralville before joining the team at Dermatology Clinic of Iowa.

Dr. Boes enjoys seeing a wide range of dermatologic conditions and has interest in both medical and surgical dermatology. She approaches each case with a focus on compassionate, patient-centered care, in a warm and welcoming environment.

Outside of work, Dr. Boes enjoys spending time with her husband Evan and their two dogs, Theo and Rosie. She enjoys running, gardening, and spending time with family and friends.
